35.410 Payment and disposition of fines.

Download as PDF 35.410 Payment and disposition of fines. Fines may be paid to a military court or to an officer executing its process. The amount of any such fine may be noted upon any state roll or account for pay of the delinquent and deducted from any pay or allowance due or thereafter to become due him, until the fine is liquidated. Any sum so deducted from any state pay or allowance shall be turned into the military court which imposed the fine and shall be paid over by the officer receiving the same in like manner as provided for other fines and moneys collected under a sentence of a summary court-martial. A fine or penalty imposed by a military court upon an officer or enlisted man shall be paid by the collecting officer, and within thirty (30) days after collection, to the Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and it shall form a part of and be credited to the military fund of such organization or detachment. The Treasurer of the Commonwealth of Kentucky shall thereupon report the amount thereof, designating the organization or detachment to which it belongs, to the adjutant general of the state.
