304.20-400 Definitions. As used in KRS 304.20-410 to 304.20-450: (1) "Alarm" means horn, bell, siren or other sounding device which is audible at three hundred (300) feet; (2) "Electronic lock or keyless device" means an electronic coding device with more than ten thousand (10,000) combinations. The combination shall be entered through a keyboard or similar data entry device or by means of a remote control device; (3) "Passive" means an antitheft device or system which is activated automatically when the operator turns the ignition key to the off position; and (4) "Tubular" means a type of lock whose key is cylindrically shaped and which has at least fifty thousand (50,000) combinations.
