224.60-150 Funding for administration of underground storage tank program. (1) (2) The cabinet shall levy and collect annual fees in the amount of thirty dollars () per tank from the owners or operators of underground storage tanks containing regulated substances for the purpose of funding the administration of the underground storage tank program. The fees shall be deposited into an interestbearing account in the State Treasury. Money unexpended at the close of a fiscal year shall not lapse, but shall be carried forward to the next fiscal year or biennium for future use. The cabinet shall recover actual and necessary expenditures incurred in the administration of the underground storage tank program including expenditures for corrective action. Any expenditures recovered shall be placed in the account established by this section. Effective: April 13, 1992 History: Amended 1992 Ky.
