67.745 Persons serving as county judge/executive during emergency -- How long. Any of the persons designated herein to serve in the line of succession to the county judge/executive during such state of emergency shall occupy and serve in the office of county judge/executive: (1) Only until, if and when, the regular county judge/executive should return to the county from absence during the emergency or should recover from disability; or (2) Until the Governor of the Commonwealth is able to make an appointment of a successor to the regular county judge/executive; or (3) Until the termination of the state of emergency, whichever should occur soonest.
