65.755 Digits reserved for emergency telephone number. Every telephone company within the Commonwealth shall reserve the initial digits 9-1-1 for use as an emergency telephone number. The company shall assign this number within an exchange only to a public body or other applicant for the establishment of 911 emergency telephone service. Effective: July 13, 1984 History: Created 1984 Ky. Acts ch. 154, sec. 2, effective July 13, 1984.
