18A.200 Per diem salaries for state officers or employees serving on boards or commissions prohibited during regular working hours -- Reimbursement of expenses authorized. (1) (2) No state officer or employee who is required by statute or regulation to serve on any board, commission or other body in an official capacity shall receive a per diem salary for the attendance of meetings or performance of services during regular working hours. Any state officer or employee who is required by statute or regulation or who is elected or appointed to serve on any board, commission or other body in an official capacity shall receive reimbursement for actual and necessary expenses in accordance with state regulations and standards.
