2.237 Coal Miners Appreciation Week. The third week of August of each year shall be designated as Coal Miners Appreciation Week. The Governor may annually issue a proclamation designating the third week of August as Coal Miners Appreciation Week and calling upon coal mining businesses and all citizens of the Commonwealth to observe the occasion and honor the coal miners of the Commonwealth.
