286.5-251 Acceptance of gratuity for action, a misdemeanor. Any officer, director or employee of an association who solicits, accepts or agrees to <br>accept, directly or indirectly, from any person other than the association, any gratuity, <br>compensation or other personal benefit for any action taken by the association or for <br>endeavoring to procure any such action, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. Effective: June 18, 1964 <br>History: Created 1964 Ky. Acts ch. 138, sec. 13, effective June 18, 1964. <br>Formerly codified as KRS 289.251. <br>Legislative Research Commission Note (7/12/2006). In accordance with 2006 Ky. Acts ch. 247, secs. 38 and 39, this statute has been renumbered as a section of the <br>Kentucky Financial Services Code, KRS Chapter 286.
