Case No. 991083-CA

F I L E D
July 7, 2000
  2000 UT App 215 -----

Third District, Salt Lake Department
The Honorable J. Dennis Frederick

Attorneys:
Dan Henry Tijerina, Sr., Draper, Appellant Pro Se
Jan Graham and James H. Beadles, Salt Lake City, for Appellee

-----

Before Judges Greenwood, Davis, and Orme.

PER CURIAM:

A notice of appeal must be filed "with the clerk of the trial court within 30 days after the date of entry of the judgment or order appealed from." Utah R. App. P. 4(a). The judgment from which appellant seeks to appeal was entered on October 19, 1999. Under Rule 4(a), the deadline for filing the notice of appeal was November 18, 1999. The notice of appeal was not filed until December 2, 1999, more than thirty days after the entry of judgment. Because appellant's notice of appeal was not timely filed, we dismiss the appeal for lack of jurisdiction. See Glezos v. Frontier Inv., 896 P.2d 1230, 1233 (Utah Ct. App. 1995); Varian-Eimac v. Lamoreaux, 767 P.2d 569, 570 (Utah Ct. App. 1989).
