MEMORANDUM OPINION

 

Appellant has appealed an order of dismissal by the trial court signed and filed May 24, 1994, pursuant to Chapter 13 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code. No motion for a new trial was filed. Appellant attempted to perfect his appeal by filing a notice of appeal in the trial court on July 14. He also filed a pauper's affidavit with this court on July 25. The transcript was filed in this court on July 18. The appeal was not timely perfected and is dismissed for want of jurisdiction. See Tex. R. App. P. 41(a)(1).
