In The Court of Appeals Ninth District of Texas at Beaumont _________________ NO. 09-11-00332-CR NO. 09-11-00333-CR _________________ EX PARTE JAMAAR TUKES ________________________________________________________________________ On Appeal from the 1-A District Court Jasper County, Texas Trial Cause Nos. 31,299 and 31,300 ________________________________________________________________________ MEMORANDUM OPINION Jamaar Tukes filed notice of appeal from the denial of pre-trial habeas relief in two cases in which Tukes sought release due to a delay of trial. The State filed a motion to dismiss that alleges that the issues pending in the appeals are now moot because the appellant has been convicted in one case and has been no-billed by the grand jury in the other case. The State s motion has been agreed to by the appellant through his counsel of record.
