Annotate this CaseMEMORANDUM OPINION
No. 04-06-00897-CV
Rebecca J. JENNINGS,
Appellant
v.
Kenneth L. JENNINGS, Jr.,
Appellee
From the 407th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court No. 2004-CI-07497
Honorable David A. Berchelmann, Jr., Judge Presiding
PER CURIAM
Sitting: Sandee Bryan Marion, Justice
Phylis J. Speedlin, Justice
Rebecca Simmons, Justice
Delivered and Filed: August 8, 2007
DISMISSED FOR WANT OF PROSECUTION
Appellant's brief was originally due on March 7, 2007. Appellant's attorney, Randall Parker, has been granted three extensions, the latest until June 11, 2007. In our order granting the latest extension, we informed Mr. Parker that (1) no further extensions would be granted and (2) if the brief was not filed by June 11, 2007, this appeal would be subject to dismissal for want of prosecution. The brief was not filed. Accordingly, on June 27, 2007, this court ordered Mr. Parker to show cause in writing no later than July 9, 2007 why this appeal should not be dismissed for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a). No response has been filed. The appeal is dismissed for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 38.8(a)(1), 42.3(b). Costs of appeal are taxed against appellant.
