From the 186th Judicial District Court, Bexar County, Texas
Trial Court Nos. 2001-CR-0051-W & 2001-CR-0053-W
Honorable Teresa Herr, Judge Presiding

PER CURIAM

Sitting: Catherine Stone, Justice

Sarah B. Duncan, Justice

Delivered and Filed: July 30, 2003

DISMISSED FOR WANT OF JURISDICTION

The trial court imposed or suspended Rosalinda McGarity's sentences on March 6, 2003. Because appellant did not file a motion for new trial in either cause, her notices of appeal were due to be filed on April 7, 2003. Tex. R. App. P. 26.2(a)(1). A motion for extension of time to file the notices of appeal was due on April 22, 2003. Tex. R. App. P. 26.3. Appellant filed her notices of appeal on June 3, 2003. Appellant did not file a motion for extension of time in either cause.

On June 24, 2003, this court ordered appellant to file a response presenting a reasonable explanation for failing to file the notices of appeal in a timely manner. No response has been filed. Therefore, these appeals are dismissed for lack of jurisdiction.
