Trial Court No. 02-08-00120-CRK
Honorable Olin B. Strauss, Judge Presiding

PETITION FOR WRIT OF MANDAMUS DENIED

Relator, Curtis Williams, filed a pro se petition for mandamus relief seeking an order for the trial court to set a hearing on the State's motion for revocation or to set bail. Williams' remedy for the trial court's failure to rule on the revocation or to release him is an application for habeas corpus. Roberts v. State, 627 S.W.2d 183, 184-85 (Tex. Crim App. 1982); Aguilar v. State, 621 S.W.2d 781, 785-86 (Tex. Crim. App. 1981).

Because Williams is not entitled to mandamus relief, we deny his petition. PER CURIAM
