The clerk's record for this appeal was filed in this court on June 29, 2000. We notified the District Clerk of Guadalupe County that the record was defective because it did not contain the movant's notice of appeal. The clerk responded, stating that the case was misfiled in this court.

Indeed, the courts of appeals have no jurisdiction over felony post-conviction writs of habeas corpus, which this case appears to be. Tex. Code Crim. Proc. Ann. art. 11.07 3(Vernon Supp. 1997); see Ex parte Williams, 561 S.W.2d 1, 2 (Tex. Crim. App. 1978) (stating that only the court

of criminal appeals has jurisdiction over final felony convictions). Therefore, this appeal is dismissed for want of jurisdiction.
