Opinion issued June 27, 2017 In The Court of Appeals For The First District of Texas ———————————— NO. 01-17-00414-CV ——————————— IN RE WILLIAM SOLOMON LEWIS, Relator Original Proceeding on Petition for Writ of Mandamus MEMORANDUM OPINION William Solomon Lewis, acting pro se, has filed a petition for writ of mandamus requesting that we compel the Clerk of this Court to send him a copy of our rulings on three motions that Lewis filed after our August 23, 2016 dismissal of his appeal in appellate case number 01-16-00396-CV. We dismiss the petition as moot. Following our dismissal of his appeal for lack of jurisdiction, Lewis filed (1) a motion requesting a 15-day extension of time to file a motion for rehearing, (2) a motion to amend his notice of appeal, and (3) a “Motion to reinstate the Appeal as a Restricted Appeal or to Reinstate the Appeal in Part to Only Include the Motion to Reinstate the Case from the Trial Court.” This Court issued an order on November 3, 2016 denying all three motions. The Clerk of this Court mailed Lewis a copy of the order when it issued and has responded to his petition by resending another copy of the order. Accordingly, because Lewis has been sent a copy of the order denying his motions, we dismiss his petition for writ of mandamus as moot. PER CURIAM Panel consists of Justices Higley, Bland, and Brown. 2
