Opinion issued January 19, 2017 In The Court of Appeals For The First District of Texas ———————————— NO. 01-16-00488-CR ——————————— EX PARTE JULIA RODRIGUEZ, Appellant On Appeal from the County Criminal Court at Law No. 12 Harris County, Texas Trial Court Case No. 2094222 MEMORANDUM OPINION Appellant Julia Rodriguez appeals from the trial court’s order denying her application for writ of habeas corpus. After we abated the appeal and remanded to the trial court for a hearing, Rodriguez’s appointed counsel filed a motion in the trial court to withdraw the appeal. Counsel stated in the motion that Rodriguez no longer desired to pursue her appeal. The trial court granted this motion on December 1, 2016. The supplemental clerk’s record containing this ruling was filed on December 29, 2016. We have not issued a decision in the appeal. Because the trial court granted Rodriguez’s motion to withdraw her appeal, we dismiss the appeal. See TEX. R. APP. P. 43.2(f). We dismiss any pending motions as moot. PER CURIAM Panel consists of Justices Massengale, Brown, and Huddle. Do not publish. TEX. R. APP. P. 47.2(b). 2
