R. APP. P. 8.2 after receiving notice that Appellee Homecomings Financial, LLC and its parent company, Residential Capital, LLC, had filed for bankruptcy protection. Appellant has now filed in this court an unopposed request for voluntary dismissal of this appeal. Appellant requests that we issue an order dismissing the appeal in this cause. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.1(a)(1). Accordingly, as of the date of this opinion, we lift the abatement, reinstate the appeal, and grant Appellant’s motion to dismiss. See King v. Premier Health Care Specialists, Inc., No. 10-02-00111-CV, 2005 WL 675645, at *1 (Tex. App.—Waco Mar. 23, 2005, no pet.) (mem. op.). This appeal is dismissed.
