O P I N I O N

Pending before the Court is the joint motion of Appellant, G.L.M., and the Appellees, the Texas Department of Public Safety, and the State of Texas, to reverse a portion of the trial court=s expunction order and affirm the remainder. The parties bring this motion pursuant to Tex.R.App.P. 42.1, which states that:

(a) The appellate court may dispose of an appeal as follows:

(1) in accordance with an agreement signed by all parties or their attorneys and filed with the clerk; or

(2) in accordance with a motion of appellant to dismiss the appeal or affirm the appealed judgment or order; but no party may be prevented from seeking any relief to which it would otherwise be entitled.

 

All of the parties have signed the joint motion, indicating their agreement to dispose of the appeal in this manner. The joint motion is hereby granted and we reverse the portion of the judgment denying G.L.M.=s petition to expunge the two felony arrests which form the basis of this appeal. The remainder of the judgment is affirmed.
