ORDER

¶1 The Court hereby adopts as set forth and attached hereto amended Rule 8 . OCIS Steering Committee, Rules for Management of the Oklahoma Court Information System, codified at 20 O.S. Ch. 18, App. 2.

¶2 DONE BY ORDER OF THE SUPREME COURT IN CONFERENCE THIS 16TH DAY OF JANUARY, 2001.

Rules for Management of the Oklahoma Court Information System, 20 O.S. Ch. 18, App. 2, shall be amended to add the following:

Rule 8. OCIS Steering Committee

A Steering Committee shall be formed by January 24, 2001 in order to provide a forum for users to voice feedback, suggestions, and recommendations concerning the OCIS system. This committee shall be a permanent committee, and shall initially meet on January 24, 2001. The continuing meeting schedule of the Steering Committee shall be set by the Steering Committee itself.

The Steering Committee shall be an advisory body to the Supreme Court of Oklahoma, through the Chief Justice, on matters concerning the Oklahoma Court Information System. The Steering Committee shall provide recommendations to the Chief Justice in written form.

The Steering Committee shall be made up of eleven members who shall serve a one year term on the committee. The membership of the Steering Committee shall be selected as follows:

From time to time, as need arises, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court may appoint additional temporary members to the committee.
