BOYLE, J.: {¶ 1} Jovan Hughey has filed a complaint for a writ of procedendo. Hughey seeks an order from this court that requires Judge Bridgette McCafferty to render a ruling with regard to a motion to withdraw the guilty plea filed in State v. Hughey, Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas case No. CR-488771. {¶ 2} A review of the docket in State v. Hughey, supra, demonstrates that a ruling that denied the motion to withdraw the guilty plea was journalized on June 14, 2010. Hughey s request for a writ of procedendo is moot. State ex rel. Jerninghan v. Cuyahoga Cty. Court of Common Pleas, 74 3 Ohio St.3d 278, 1996-Ohio-117, 658 N.E.2d 723; State ex rel. Gantt v. Coleman (1983), 6 Ohio St.3d 5, 450 N.E.2d 1163. {¶ 3} Accordingly, we deny Hughey s request for a writ of procedendo. Costs to Hughey.
