Plaintiff commenced this action to foreclose a mortgage in the original sum of $5 17.500.00 executed by <lcfendallts Constantino V. Bellino and Ana Bdlino on October 3 1. 2006 in favor of Option One Mortgage Corporation . On the same date the defendant Constantino V. Belino executed a promissory note prom ising to re-pay the entire amount of the indebtedness to the mortgage lender. Delendunt Constantino V. 13ellino executed a lonn modification agreement dated October I. 2008 creating a single lien in the sum or $5~4.59~. 99. By assign1111.::nt the plain ti ff became the owner and holder of the promissory note and mortgage. The derendants have defaulted in making timely monthly mortgage raymcnts since July 1, 2009 and continuing to date. Plaintiff commenced this mortgage foreclosure action by filing a notice or pcmkncy together with the summons and complaint with the Suffolk County Clerk's OJfo;c on Lkccmbcr 3. 2009.
