Serial: 196859 IN THE SUPREME COURT OF MISSISSIPPI No. 89-R-99014-SCT IN RE: MISSISSIPPI COMMISSION ON JUDICIAL PERFORMANCE RULES ORDER This matter is before the Court en banc on the Petition to Amend Rule 6.B(2) of the Rules of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance. After due consideration, the Court finds that the Petition is well-taken and should be granted as set forth in Exhibit A. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the Rules of the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance are hereby amended as set forth in Exhibit A. This amendment is effective immediately. IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the Clerk of this Court shall spread this Order upon the minutes of the Court and shall forward a true certified copy hereof to West Publishing Company for publication in the next edition of the Mississippi Rules of Court and in the Southern Reporter, Third Series, (Mississippi Edition). Probable Cause B. Disposition. The Commission shall dispose of the case in one (1) of the following ways: ... (2) If it fails to find grounds for discipline under Section 177A of the Mississippi Constitution, but nevertheless finds that there has been misconduct conduct for which a private admonishment constitutes an adequate discipline response, it shall issue the admonishment. The complainant shall be notified that the matter has been resolved. The Commission shall notify the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of its action. 2
