STATE OF MICHIGAN COURT OF APPEALS PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN, UNPUBLISHED May 7, 2009 Plaintiff-Appellee, v No. 279518 Wayne Circuit Court LC No. 07-003318-01 SAMUEL CURRIE BRIDGES, Defendant-Appellant. Before: Gleicher, P.J., and K.F. Kelly and Murray, JJ. K. F. KELLY, J. (Concurring.) Viewing the evidence in the light most favorable to the prosecution, I concur in the majority’s conclusion that sufficient evidence was produced to permit a rational trier of fact to find that the essential elements of second-degree murder, MCL 750.317, felon in possession of a firearm, MCL 750.224f, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, MCL 750.227b were proven beyond a reasonable doubt. People v Nowack, 462 Mich 392, 399; 614 NW2d 78 (2000). /s/ Kirsten Frank Kelly -1-
