MEMORANDUM.
Respondent Jennifer Leong appeals as of right from a circuit court order terminating her
parental rights to the minor children pursuant to MCL 712A.19b(3)(c)(i), (g), and (j). We affirm.
The trial court did not clearly err in finding that the statutory grounds for termination
were proven by clear and convincing evidence. In re IEM, 233 Mich App 438, 450; 592 NW2d
751 (1999). The children became temporary court wards because respondent was unable to
maintain a sanitary home and had become homeless. A dispositional order was entered in March
2005, and respondent was provided with services. She found and lost two homes because she
was unable to pay the rent. When respondent lost the last home in October 2006, it was in an
unsanitary condition even though she had only two children with her and had the benefit of inhome services. One of the children became infested with lice. As of June 2007, respondent still
lacked housing that could accommodate herself and the children.
Further, the evidence did not clearly show that termination of respondent’s parental rights
was not in the children’s best interests. In re Trejo Minors, 462 Mich 341, 354; 612 NW2d 407

(2000); MCL 712A.19b(5). The trial court did not clearly err in terminating respondent’s
parental rights to the children. In re Trejo, supra at 356-357.
Affirmed.
