STATE OF MICHIGAN
COURT OF APPEALS
GEORGE P. MILLER,
UNPUBLISHED
January 13, 2004
Petitioner-Appellant,
v
No. 243388
Ingham Circuit Court
LC No. 02-000094-AP
MICHIGAN PAROLE BOARD,
Respondent-Appellee.
Before: Talbot, P.J., and Owens and Fort Hood, JJ.
MEMORANDUM.
Petitioner appeals by leave granted from the trial court’s order dismissing his claim of
appeal from the parole board’s decision to deny him parole. We affirm.
On appeal, petitioner asserted that a claim of appeal was provided for by MCL 600.631,
and that the elimination of prisoner parole appeals was a denial of equal protection under the
federal and state constitutions, US Const, Am XIV; Const 1963, art 1, § 2. These arguments
were rejected in Morales v Michigan Parole Board, ___ Mich App ___; ___ NW2d ___ (2003),1
which is binding precedent. MCR 7.215(C)(2), (J)(1).
Affirmed.
/s/ Michael J. Talbot
