FAMILY INDEPENDENCE AGENCY,
UNPUBLISHED
August 11, 2000
Petitioner-Appellee,
v
No. 220859
Branch Circuit Court
Family Division
LC No. 98-000787-NA
CECILE GABRIEL,
Respondent-Appellant.
Before: Smolenski, P.J., and Zahra and Collins, JJ.
MEMORANDUM.
Respondent appeals as of right from the order of the family division of the circuit court
terminating her parental rights to the minor child under MCL 712A.19b(3)(g); MSA
27.3178(598.19b)(3)(g). We affirm.
The court did not clearly err in finding that the statutory ground for termination was established
by clear and convincing evidence. MCR 5.974(I); In re Trejo, ___ Mich ___; ___ NW2d ___
(Docket No. 112528, decided 7/5/2000) slip op p 17. Further, the court’s finding that termination of
respondent’s parental rights was not against the child’s best interests was not clearly erroneous. MCL
712A.19b(5); MSA 27.3178(598.19b)(5); Trejo, supra at 17-18. Thus, the court did not err in
terminating respondent’s parental rights to the child. Id. at 10-11.
Affirmed.
