STATE OF MICHIGAN COURT OF APPEALS In the Matter of JESSE and LACEY SHAW, Minors JAMES PFAFF and LILLIAN PFAFF, UNPUBLISHED February 2, 1999 Petitioner-Appellants, v Nos. 204870; 206056 Washtenaw Court LC Nos. 96-007430-AD; 96-007841-AD FAIMLY INDEPENDENCE AGENCY, Respondent-Appellee. AFTER REMAND Before: Hood, P.J., and Markman and Talbot, JJ. MEMORANDUM. We remanded this matter to the trial court (Nos. 204870; 206056, rel'd June 12, 1998) "only for a limited evidentiary hearing on the investigation and resulting report, including allowing petitioners to cross-examine the report's author". We specifically indicated that it was unnecessary to hold any new hearing regarding petitioners' bid for adoption. The trial court conducted the hearing as ordered, and concluded that petitioners' petition should be denied. We find no error in the trial court's conclusions, and affirm. Affirmed. /s/ Harold Hood /s/ Stephen J. Markman /s/ Michael J. Talbot -1
