COURT OF APPEALS
PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN,
UNPUBLISHED
March 25, 1997
Plaintiff-Appellee,
v
No. 186920
Saginaw Circuit Court
LC No. 95-010423-FH
MARK ALAN BEDFORD,
Defendant-Appellant.
Before: D.F. Walsh,* P.J., and R.P. Griffin** and W.P. Cynar,* JJ.
MEMORANDUM.
Defendant pleaded guilty to first-degree retail fraud, MCL 750.356c; MSA 28.588(3), and
habitual offender, second offense, MCL 769.10; MSA 28.1082. He was sentenced to two to three
years’ imprisonment, and now appeals as of right. We affirm. This case has been decided without oral
argument pursuant to MCR 7.214(A).
There is no indication in the record that the trial court did not consider the relevant sentencing
factors in imposing defendant’s sentence. Under the circumstances, the sentence does not violate the
principle of proportionality. People v Milbourn, 425 Mich 630; 461 NW2d 1 (1990).
Affirmed.
