COURT OF APPEALS
PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN,
UNPUBLISHED
March 4, 1997
Plaintiff-Appellee,
v
No. 180004
Genesee Circuit
LC No. 94-050392-FC
ALFRED LEE ROBINSON, JR.,
Defendant-Appellant.
Before: D.F. Walsh,* P.J., and R.P. Griffin** and W.P. Cynar,* JJ.
MEMORANDUM.
Defendant pleaded guilty to armed robbery, MCL 750.529; MSA 28.797, and unlawfully
driving away a motor vehicle, MCL 750.413; MSA 28.645. For those respective convictions, he was
sentenced to concurrent terms of fifteen to thirty years’ imprisonment and forty to sixty months’
imprisonment. He appeals as of right. We affirm. This case has been decided without oral argument
pursuant to MCR 7.214(A).
Defendant failed to present the sentencing court with any unusual circumstances that would
render imposition of his guidelines’ sentence an abuse of discretion. He has therefore waived his claim
on appeal that the sentence is disproportionate. People v Sharp, 192 Mich App 501, 505-506; 481
NW2d 773 (1992). In any event, considering the several charges that were dismissed in exchange for
defendant’s plea, we hold that his sentence is proportionate. People v Milbourn, 435 Mich 630; 461
NW2d 1 (1990); People v Duprey, 186 Mich App 313; 463 NW2d 240 (1990).
