CANNON Before COX, HUNTER, and ELLENDER, JJ. ORDER The defendant, Richard E. Cannon, has appealed his convictions and sentences. The appeal record lodged with this Court on November 28, 2023. A review of the record does not indicate that the defendant has been appointed counsel to represent him on appeal or that the district court held a hearing on the issue of selfrepresentation. Accordingly, this matter is hereby remanded for a determination as to the defendant's representation. Within 30 days of this order, the district court is ordered to make a determination as to the defendant's indigence. If the defendant is determined to be indigent, the Louisiana Appellate Project shall be appointed to represent him on appeal. The district court shall cause the appellate record to be supplemented with duplicate certified copies of the transcript of any proceedings held and/or any rulings or orders arising therefrom within 40 days of this Court's order. Briefing delays are hereby suspended pending further orders of this Court.
