U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit - 27 F.3d 564 (4th Cir. 1994) Submitted: May 24, 1994Decided: June 17, 1994

Appeal from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, at Alexandria. Albert V. Bryan, Jr., Senior District Judge. (CR-93-97-A, CA-93-1587-AM)

Joseph Garfield Brown, Appellant Pro Se.

Vincent L. Gambale, Office of the United States Attorney, Alexandria, Virginia, for Appellee.

E.D. Va.

AFFIRMED.

Before WIDENER, WILKINSON, and NIEMEYER, Circuit Judges.

PER CURIAM:

Appellant appeals from the district court's order denying his 28 U.S.C. § 2255 (1988) motion. Our review of the record and the district court's opinion discloses that this appeal is without merit. Accordingly, we affirm on the reasoning of the district court.*  United States v. Brown, Nos. CR-93-97-A; CA-93-1587-AM (E.D. Va. Dec. 16, 1993). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before the Court and argument would not aid the decisional process.

AFFIRMED

 *

We deny Appellant's motion for appointment of counsel. We also deny his motion for preparation of plea and sentencing hearing transcripts at government expense, because the record before us adequately addresses the issues here presented
