MEMORANDUM^**

Title 21 U.S.C. § 841 (as amended by Sec. 1002 of the Anti-Drug Abuse Act of 1986, Pub. L. 99-570, 100 Stat. 3207-2-3 (1986)), under which Rodriguera was convicted, provided for a five- to forty-year term of imprisonment followed by a period of at least four years supervised release, and/or a fine of $2,000,000. Rodriguera's sentence, which included ten years supervised release, was therefore within the statutory limits of the law in effect at the time of his offense. See Gozlon-Peretz v. United States, 111 S. Ct. 840, 849 (1991); United States v. Torres, 880 F.2d 113, 114, n. 1 (9th Cir. 1989) (citing United States v. Meyers, 847 F.2d 1408, 1416 (9th Cir. 1988), cert. denied, 110 S. Ct. 873 (1990).

AFFIRMED.
