ORDER

This pro se plaintiff appeals a judgment of the district court which dismissed his civil rights complaint filed pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983. Plaintiff now moves for leave to proceed in forma pauperis on appeal. Upon examination of the record and plaintiff's brief, this panel unanimously agrees that oral argument is not needed. Fed. R. App. P. 34(a).

Upon consideration, the motion for leave to proceed in forma pauperis is hereby granted. Furthermore, for the reasons stated in the district court's opinion and order, the final judgment entered August 19, 1987, is hereby affirmed. Rule 9(b) (5), Rules of the Sixth Circuit.
