Cite as 2012 Ark. 134 SUPREME COURT OF ARKANSAS No. CR11-271 Opinion Delivered March 29, 2012 MICHAEL DEWAYNE GULLEY APPELLANT VS. STATE OF ARKANSAS MASTER APPOINTED. APPELLEE PER CURIAM On February 23, 2012, we ordered attorney Mr. Ronald L. Davis to appear before this court to show cause why he should not be held in civil contempt for failing to file a timely brief for Appellant Michael Gulley. On March 8, 2012, Mr. Davis pled not guilty to contempt and requested a hearing. We therefore appoint the Honorable John Lineberger as a master to conduct the hearing on this matter. Once we receive the master s findings, we will render a decision on the matter. It is so ordered. DANIELSON, J., would not require the attorneys to show cause but would instead refer Mr. Davis to the Supreme Court Committee on Professional Conduct.
