33-16-403. Inspection of crematories; rules and regulations.
The state board of embalming shall establish, promulgate and amend reasonable rules and regulations governing the cremation of human remains. The rules shall provide minimum standards of sanitation, required equipment and fire protection which the state board of embalming deems necessary for the protection of the public. The state board of embalming shall inspect all crematoriums at least once each year.
