33-16-304. Investigation of applicants for license; granting or refusing license.


WY Stat § 33-16-304 (through 2012) What's This?

Upon receipt of an application for a license hereunder said Wyoming state board of embalming shall cause an investigation to be made as to the character of the applicant, including its officers or members, if the application is by or in behalf of an association, corporation or partnership, and may require such showing as will reasonably prove the good character of the applicant; may subpoena witnesses, administer oaths upon proper notice and after proper hearing, shall grant a license if the board finds that the applicant is of good character, and that the proposed funeral establishment is, or will be, constructed and equipped as required by W.S. 33-16-301. Every application must be granted or refused within ninety (90) days from the date of the filing of such application in case a hearing is held.
