51.38 Nonresident patients on unauthorized absence. The circuit court may order the detention of any nonresident individual who is on unauthorized absence from any institution of another state for the treatment of mental illness, developmental disabilities, alcoholism or drug abuse. Detention shall be for the period necessary to complete the deportation of that individual.51.38 - ANNOT.
