CHAPTER 23. WORKERS' COMPENSATION
ARTICLE 1. GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS.

own, lease and otherwise manage property.(a) With the establishment of the Workers' Compensation Commission, all assets and contracts, along with rights and obligations thereunder, obtained or signed on behalf of the Workers' Compensation Division of the Bureau of Employment Programs in furtherance of the purposes of this chapter, are hereby transferred and assigned to the Workers' Compensation Commission.
(b) From the termination of the commission through the thirtieth day of June, two thousand eight, the company may continue to contract and exchange data and information with the office of information, services and communication, the Bureau of Employment Programs, the Division of Motor Vehicles, various child support enforcement agencies and other similar state agencies and entities in a manner similar to the commission to accomplish the intent of this chapter.
