§18-2-18. Study on fluctuating staff in schools with a high percentage of at-risk students.
§18-2-18. Study on fluctuating staff in schools with a high
percentage of at-risk students.The West Virginia board of education shall conduct a comprehensive study of staff fluctuations in schools with a high percentage of at-risk students. At-risk students are defined as students with the potential for academic failure, including, but not limited to, the risk of dropping out of school, involvement in delinquent activities and those students with free and reduced lunch status. The state superintendent shall prepare a written report detailing the findings, conclusions and recommendations generated by the study to be presented to the legislative oversight commission on education accountability by the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred ninety-five.
