§17-26-7. Conflicts of interest.
§17-26-7. Conflicts of interest.No part of the proceeds from the sale of bonds under this article may inure to the benefit of or be distributable to the officers, employees of the state except to pay reasonable compensation for services rendered to the state. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars, or confined in jail not more than one year, or both fined and imprisoned.
