§5-16B-9. Public-private partnerships.
§5-16B-9. Public-private partnerships.The board and the director are authorized to work in conjunction with a nonprofit corporation organized pursuant to the corporate laws of the state, structured to permit qualification pursuant to section 501(c) of the Internal Revenue Code for purposes of assisting the children's health program and funded from sources other than the state or federal government. Members of the board may sit on the board of directors of the private nonprofit corporation.
