§48-1-225. Extraordinary medical expenses defined.
"Extraordinary medical expenses" means uninsured medical expenses in excess of two hundred fifty dollars per year per child which are recurring and can reasonably be predicted by the court at the time of establishment or modification of a child support order. Such expenses shall include, but not be limited to, insurance copayments and deductibles, reasonable costs for necessary orthodontia, dental treatment, asthma treatments, physical therapy, vision therapy and eye care and any uninsured chronic health problem.
