§30-28-2. Declaration of purpose.

The West Virginia occupational therapy practice act is enacted to safeguard the public health, safety and welfare, and to assure the availability of high quality occupational therapy services to persons in need of such services. It is the purpose of this article to provide for the regulation of persons presenting themselves as an occupational therapist or as an occupational therapy assistant.
