2005 West Virginia Code - §30-25-1. — Definitions.

§30-25-1. Definitions.

As used in this article, unless a different meaning appears from the context:
(1) The term "nursing home" means a nursing home as that term is defined in subdivision (c), section two, article five-c, chapter sixteen of this code.
(2) The term "nursing home administrator" means a professional who is an individual responsible for planning, organizing, directing and controlling a nursing home, or who in fact performs such functions, whether or not such individual has an ownership interest in the nursing home and whether or not such functions are shared with one or more other persons.
(3) The term "board" shall mean the West Virginia nursing home administrators licensing board created by this article.
(4) The term "person" or "applicant" shall mean an individual.
