WA Rev Code § 70.96B.120 (2013) What's This?

RCW 70.96B.120 Rights of involuntarily detained persons.

(1) Every person involuntarily detained or committed under this chapter as a result of a mental disorder is entitled to all the rights set forth in this chapter and in chapter 71.05 RCW, and retains all rights not denied him or her under this chapter or chapter 71.05 RCW.

     (2) Every person involuntarily detained or committed under this chapter as a result of a chemical dependency is entitled to all the rights set forth in this chapter and chapter 70.96A RCW, and retains all rights not denied him or her under this chapter or chapter 70.96A RCW.
