2005 Washington Revised Code RCW 43.89.040: Transfer of powers, duties, functions, contracts, rules, property, appropriation, etc., to chief of state patrol.
The powers, duties, and functions of the director of budget relating to the state teletypewriter communication network are transferred to the chief of the Washington state patrol. All existing contracts, orders, rules, regulations, records, and obligations together with communications equipment, motor vehicles, and any other property, device, or thing and any remaining appropriation pertaining to such communication network shall be transferred by the director of budget or his agent to the chief of the Washington state patrol as of July 1, 1965.
