§ 15.2-984. Adoption of flood plain ordinances
Universal Citation: VA Code § 15.2-984 (2020)
Any locality may by ordinance regulate the activity on, use of, or development of a flood plain in a manner consistent with any state or federal flood plain management programs and requirements. Nothing in this section shall be construed to limit a locality's authority to regulate a flood plain pursuant to ยง 15.2-2283 or any other provision of law.
