Title 65.2 - Workers' Compensation
§ 65.2-1309. Employment of Committee staff; contracts for services; rules and regulations
Subject to the approval of the Commission, the Statewide Coordinating Committee shall have the authority to employ a staff and to contract with any organization in order to operate the utilization review program in any health systems area. Subject to the approval of the Commission, the Committee shall have the authority to adopt and amend such rules and regulations as may be necessary to implement the utilization review and peer review programs provided for in this chapter.
