Title 49 - Oaths, Affirmations and Bonds
§ 49-2. Form of oath for out-of-state commissioners
VA Code § 49-2 (2014) What's This?
Where a person residing in another state is appointed a commissioner by the Governor, he shall only be required to take and subscribe the following oath or affirmation:
"I, ........., swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully perform the duties
of commissioner to the best of my ability. So help me God."
